We are currently recruiting for a new Night Security Officer & Concierge to become a part of the team at our prestigious Victorian mansion block in Marylebone. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, positive personality with ability to build trusting relationships with residents, colleagues and others.

As first point of contact for residents, visitors, and contractors, you must have exceptional communication and customer service skills, show keen attention to detail while maintaining high standards, and solve problems in a proactive and confident manner.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Provide front of house concierge and security to the residents and visitors, providing a safe and welcoming environment.
• Accurately manage post & parcels for the development.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the premises to ensure the safety and security of the building.
• Monitor CCTV systems continuously, control access to the building, respond promptly to ensure safety and security of the premises.
• Enforce the building regulations to prevent and minimise risk of breach of lease/ house rules.
• Liaise with security manager for all residential and operational issues, implement toolbox talks and training exercises benefiting the development.
• Ensure that all security requests are dealt in a timely and professional manner adhering to the relevant assignment instructions.
• Participate in security training and adhere to procedures.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, including alarm systems and security threats.
• Maintain an accurate Daily Occurrence Book logging all daily activities, incidents, and observations in detail for reference and compliance.
• Follow fire and emergency procedures, ensure all relevant preventative measures are undertaken.
• Maintain confidentiality adhering to GDPR regulations.

The successful candidate MUST have an active, valid SIA badge.

Hours: 4 on 4 off / 19:00-07:00

Salary: £29,811 per annum or £13.65 per hour

Location: Marylebone (nearest tube station is Baker Street or Marylebone)
