Job Title: Assistant Development Manager- Temporary
Location: UB3
Working hours: 8:00am – 16:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a high level of management and administration support to the Development Manager.
- To be a part of the Hayes Village Team maintaining the policies, company rules and to provide consistent quality work.
Main Duties:
- Prioritise work to ensure that deadlines and targets are met within the appropriate time scales.
- To ensure compliance across the Estate is met with any relevant defects reported to Barratt London if within defect period.
- To ensure actions are met within their SLA’s
- To maintain contractor relationship with any contractor that is on the Estate or may be in the future
- To supervise/manage (indirectly) “full time staff” on the Estate. I.e. Administrator, yardmen, handymen, cleaners.
- To assist the Development Manager in updating and following through defects with Barratt London.
- To ensure Datastation is kept up to date
- To tender for high value contracts ensuring the term imposed is within section 20
- To manage contractors regarding performance and value
- Update, amend, maintain & manage the main database of information for the estate.
- Manage the estate purchase ordering system – Qube.
- Send out Welcome packs (electronically) to all new tenants & lessees, with follow-up to all non-received details.
- Dealing with resident enquiries as and when appropriate and escalating accordingly.
- To update and, when required, facilitate the sale of fobs and remotes. Program as required.
- To liaise with contactors when they attend site and manage the handling of keys. This will include following up with contractors where they have not returned to the estate office by the end of the office working day.
- Manage the estate purchase ordering software system, placing PO’s as necessary. This is currently managed through MRI Qube.
- Send out Welcome packs (electronically) to all new tenants & lessees, with follow-up to all non-received details.
- Communicate with the car parking company (temporary and permanent), administer all related correspondence relating to this.
- To take water meter readings upon request of a resident
