This role is Monday to Friday with Hybrid working (two days from home, two in the office and one day per week visible on the clients portfolio).

The Block Manager is primarily responsible for the delivery of management services to a portfolio of residential properties located in Hatfield. This role will be the direct interface with the client/freeholder and leaseholders within their portfolio.

To develop and maintain a motivated and customer orientated service and ensure that service standards are achieved and that legislative and regulatory and best practise requirements are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Property inspections and maintenance: inspections and reports
  • Finance: Preparation of budgets and review of service charge reconciliations
  • Meetings: Landlord and residents meetings
  • Correspondence and administration tasks
  • Breaches of lease
  • Management of contractors
  • Dealing with any complaints from residents
  • Serving Section 20 notices
  • Liaising with the developer on any defects

Requirements:

  • Must have previous Block Management experience – including knowledge of the Section 20 consultation process
  • High customer service skills
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise workload
  • A driving licence and own car is required

Salary: £30,000 – £45,000
