Role Overview
The Plumber will provide a dependable and high-quality plumbing service across a residential environment, covering both planned and reactive maintenance works. The role involves fault diagnosis, effective repairs, and clear communication with the wider maintenance team through accurate reporting.
This position is well suited to a proactive, customer-focused professional who can manage their workload independently, maintain high standards of workmanship, and interact professionally with residents and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Complete daily plumbing inspections across allocated areas in line with scheduled workloads

Carry out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance in residential and communal areas

Diagnose plumbing faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely

Undertake leak investigations, water tank cleaning, and associated remedial works

Identify additional works required and provide clear quotations where necessary

Accurately record completed works and findings using the company’s mobile reporting system

Communicate effectively with the maintenance team and office to ensure work is prioritised appropriately
Multi-Trade Responsibilities
From time to time, the role will involve supporting wider maintenance activities, which may include:

Basic carpentry repairs to doors, frames, and windows

Minor locksmith works such as adjustments to locks and door closers

Roofing, guttering, and drainage maintenance tasks

Small-scale decorative works, including minor flooring installation

Installation of signage and fixtures
Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience in plumbing maintenance and repair

Good knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and tools

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Experience working within residential or similar environments (desirable)

CSCS card (desirable – training can be provided if required)

Full UK clean driving licence (desirable)
