We have Temporary Concierge/Porter opportunity for a residential building based in Bournemouth, BH1.

As a Concierge you will be responsible for the delivery of the highest levels of customer service to all residents, guests and external contractors at the Development and will be the first and main point of contact for all queries. Your key day-to-day duties will involve operation of the Concierge Desk, reporting to head office management and monitoring on-site security.

Security & Safet

• Oversee building security, including CCTV monitoring, access fobs, keys and emergency call‑outs
• Act as main Key Holder and first point of contact in emergency situations
• Conduct daily security checks and ensure all doors, windows and service areas are secured
• Test fire alarms and emergency lighting, maintaining accurate records

Cleaning & Presentation

• Deliver high‑quality cleaning across internal areas, including floors, carpets and surfaces
• Maintain car park, yards, entrances and external pathways
• Carry out periodic high‑level and specialist cleaning as required

General Maintenance & Grounds

• Maintain the day‑to‑day condition of the building, grounds and external areas
• Carry out minor repairs and report larger maintenance issues
• Ensure fire escape routes remain clear and all hazards are made safe
• Manage waste areas, bins and rubbish storage
• Conduct routine checks of roofs, lighting, hard surfaces and exterior fixtures
• Grit paths and manage snow/ice to ensure resident safety

Contractor & Site Support

• Coordinate and monitor contractors and suppliers on site
• Receive and store deliveries appropriately
• Monitor stock levels and order cleaning supplies and equipment
• Use PPE to safely replace lighting and carry out basic maintenance tasks

The ideal candidate will have significant experience gained within a similar concierge role and a background in delivering excellent customer service. You will also have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of Health and Safety processes

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm

Salary: £12.25-13.90ph
