Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Bonus | Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

You’ll operate as a trusted finance partner to clients and internal stakeholders, delivering insight-led reporting, driving financial control, and shaping forecasting and budgeting decisions. This role offers visibility, autonomy, and the chance to influence performance across complex property structures.
The Opportunity
You will play a central role in financial stewardship, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting, and meaningful analysis that supports strategic decision-making. Beyond producing management accounts, you’ll add value through commentary, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Produce timely monthly and quarterly management accounts with insightful KPI analysis.

Deliver clear variance analysis with forward-looking, commercially focused commentary.

Lead quarterly forecasting cycles and contribute to annual budgeting processes.

Oversee tax compliance including VAT, CIS, and NRL submissions.

Present financial results and performance updates at client meetings.

Maintain audit-ready ledgers and act as primary contact during client audits.

Review and post accruals, prepayments, and key balance sheet reconciliations.

Partner with treasury and credit control on cash flow, debt management, and reconciliations.

Support service charge reconciliations and estate-level reporting requirements.

Mentor and develop an Accounts Assistant, fostering a high-performance culture.
About You
You are an experienced property or client accountant who combines technical strength with commercial awareness. Comfortable engaging directly with clients, you communicate financial information confidently and translate data into meaningful insight.
Essential Experience & Skills

Proven experience in a Management Accountant or Client Accountant role.

Background within property management, real estate, or consultancy environments.

Strong management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting capability.

Experience with property accounting systems (Horizon or Proactis advantageous).

Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse large datasets.

High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.

Confident presenting financial performance to senior stakeholders.
