Senior Housekeeper – Luxury Residential
Location: Hampstead (NW London)
Salary: £29,500 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
(8-hour shifts, 5 days on / 2 days off, including some weekends. Flexibility required.)


The Role

We are seeking a professional and detail-focused Senior Housekeeper to maintain exceptional standards within a prestigious residential development in Hampstead. This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail and pride in presentation will directly enhance the living experience of residents and their guests.

Working closely with the front-of-house and on-site team, you will ensure that both communal areas and apartments consistently reflect the high standards expected in a premium residential environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain immaculate cleanliness across all communal internal areas, including lobbies, corridors, lifts, stairwells, resident lounges, and amenities.

  • Deliver hotel-level presentation standards, ensuring surfaces, fixtures, and finishes are spotless at all times.

  • Carry out detailed cleaning of luxury apartments as required, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and balconies.

  • Clean and care for high-end materials such as marble, stone, brass fittings, glass, and bespoke finishes using appropriate methods and products.

  • Dust, polish, vacuum, and sanitise all surfaces with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ensure waste and recycling areas are clean, organised, and compliant with site standards.

  • Replenish consumables in communal washrooms and amenity spaces.

  • Report maintenance issues, damage, or health and safety concerns promptly and accurately.

  • Work collaboratively with the wider on-site team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

  • Communicate professionally and courteously with residents and visitors at all times.


About You

  • You take genuine pride in delivering meticulous, high-quality work.

  • You have experience in luxury residential, hospitality, hotel, or high-end cleaning environments.

  • You understand discretion and professionalism when working within residents’ homes.

  • You have a strong eye for detail and proactively maintain presentation standards.

  • You are reliable, well-presented, and adaptable to changing priorities.

  • You follow health and safety procedures carefully and promote safe working practices.

  • You are approachable, service-driven, and understand the expectations of a premium living environment.
