Job Title: Night Concierge
Location: Finsbury Park, North London (Residential Development)
Hours: Full-Time – 60 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Wednesday to Sunday (Fixed)
Shift Times: 20:00pm – 08:00am
Days Off: Monday & Tuesday

Salary: £40,000 per annum

The salary may be reviewed and increased upon successful completion of the probationary period and again after one year of service.


Role Overview

We are recruiting for a professional and reliable Night Concierge to join a residential development in North London comprising approximately 150 apartments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth operation of the building during night hours while delivering a high level of customer service to residents and visitors.

This role requires someone who is proactive, well-presented, and able to work independently while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence at all times.


Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet residents and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

  • Respond to enquiries via telephone, email, and in person at the concierge desk

  • Screen all visitors and contractors and ensure they have the appropriate authorisation to access the building

  • Monitor and report any suspicious or unusual behaviour

  • Maintain an accurate shift diary and record all relevant events

  • Report incidents relating to health & safety, security, maintenance, or cleaning issues

  • Receive and release parcels to residents in accordance with site procedures

  • Manage and control apartment key handling

  • Carry out regular patrols of internal and external communal areas

  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond appropriately to any incidents

  • Water plants in communal areas during dry periods where required


Candidate Requirements

  • Strong command of spoken and written English

  • IT literate, as many operational and communication systems are computer-based

  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure

  • Well-presented with excellent timekeeping and reliability

  • Flexible and professional approach to work

  • Good understanding of customer service and the ability to deliver high standards of resident care

  • Must live within one hour of the development
