Recruitment Consultant – Perms Division Abbatt Property Recruitment | London
Abbatt Property Recruitment is an award-winning specialist agency with a strong reputation for placing top talent across the residential property sector in London and beyond. As demand from our clients continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant or a recruitment resourcer looking to take the next step in their career, to join our Perms Division and work closely alongside our Division Manager as she builds out the team.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their career in a supportive, high-performing environment. You will begin by working closely with the Division Manager, assisting on her established accounts and learning the desk from the inside. As you build confidence and knowledge of the market, she will begin transitioning key accounts across to you – giving you a real foundation to grow from, with the backing of warm client relationships from day one.
Our Perms team specialises in recruiting skilled property professionals, with a focus on concierge, security, property management and building manager roles. We take a consultative approach with both clients and candidates, prioritising long-term relationships over transactional placements. Commission is uncapped with no threshold, so your earning potential is entirely in your hands.
What the role involves:
Managing and developing client relationships, offering market insight and consultative advice at every stage. Driving new business development to grow your own portfolio over time. Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, social media and your own network. Interviewing candidates, crafting compelling CVs and writing persuasive bios for client presentations. Coaching candidates to perform at their best throughout the interview process. Attending networking events and client meetings to build lasting professional relationships.

What we are looking for:
Proven experience in permanent recruitment, ideally within a commercial or property-related discipline. We may also be open to people with a strong property background and no recruitment experience. A warm, engaging and confident communicator who builds rapport naturally. Someone resilient, proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Genuine ambition to grow – not just to fill a desk, but to build something of your own within a business that will invest in you.
