Day Concierge

Location: East London (Tower Hamlets)
Shift Pattern: 4 Days On / 4 Days Off, 8:00am – 8:00pm
Salary: £28,500 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for a professional, organised, and customer-focused Day Concierge to join a busy residential development in Tower Hamlets.

As the first point of contact for residents, guests, contractors, and visitors, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the safety, security, and smooth day-to-day operation of the development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a people-focused environment and takes pride in providing outstanding service.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have some or all of the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a residential, concierge, or hospitality environment.
  • A strong background in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience coordinating contractors and overseeing building works within a busy development.
  • A good understanding of fire safety, health & safety, and building security procedures.
  • The ability to handle confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to residents, visitors, and contractors.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to telephone calls, emails, and front desk enquiries.
  • Assist residents, guests, and visitors with day-to-day requests and support.
  • Maintain the security of the building, including monitoring CCTV and supporting the effective operation of parking facilities.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the building, reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or security concerns.
  • Accurately report and respond to health & safety issues, incidents, complaints, and emergency situations.
  • Manage the secure issue and return of keys, maintaining accurate records at all times.
  • Receive, log, store, and distribute parcels and registered mail in line with company procedures.
  • Notify residents of deliveries and ensure all collections are signed for.
  • Deliver a consistently courteous, professional, and helpful service to residents, guests, contractors, suppliers, and members of the public.
