We are currently recruiting for an on-site Day Porter/Concierge to work in our 55-unit gorgrous residential development in Chelsea, London (SW3). This is a great opportunity for delivering the highest levels of customer experience and service to all residents, guests, contractors and staff.

You will also be a real people person and go that little bit further to get to know the residents at this development, building strong relationships with them on an individual level whilst always being competely professional, courteous and respectful at all times.

You’ll be the first and primary point of contact for staff, contractors and residents when it comes to any support they need at the place they call home.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet the residents and answer enquiries by telephone or from callers to the desk.
  • Communicate with leaseholders and managing agents in an attentive and personable manner.
  • Carry out regular patrols of the entire building and report any faults and/or security breaches found to the Building Manager.
  • Ensure the tidiness of the common areas of the building and assist with the cleaning of public areas including changing bins under the chute if outside the cleaners normal working hours.
  • Keep daily logs of suppliers’ visits, mail entry and distribution.
  • Safeguard keys, provide access to necessary areas and maintain a key log.
  • Management of the moving in and removals process and ownership of the removals diary.
  • Monitor site traffic and ensure all persons on site have the right to be present.
  • Maintain health and safety file with weekly fire alarm test and various health and safety logs.
  • Undertake plant and common parts inspections and monitoring.
  • Ensure correct reporting of any security/Health & Safety issues, incidents and complaints. Taking appropriate action in the event of an emergency.

Ideally, you’ll have all or most of the experience we’re asking for:

  • Previous experience as a residential porter
  • Significant experience providing exemplary levels of customer service
  • Awareness of general fire, health & safety and security
  • Proven ability to and handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Hours: Monday to Friday; 08:00-17:00

Salary: £31,075 per annum / £14.94 per hour

Location: London (SW3) (nearest station is South Kensington or Sloane Square)
