Property Administrator REMOTE WORKING

Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary: £28,000 per annum

About the Role

We are looking for an organised and professional Property Administrator to support the Development Manager with the day-to-day management of residential properties.

The role involves providing administrative support, dealing with resident enquiries, coordinating contractors and maintenance works, maintaining accurate records and assisting with service charge, compliance and general property management tasks.

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, proactive and confident communicating with residents, contractors and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to resident enquiries and ensure queries are recorded and followed up.
  • Provide administrative support to the Development Manager.
  • Prepare letters, emails, notices, reports and meeting documents.
  • Liaise with contractors regarding planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Raise and monitor works orders and follow up outstanding works.
  • Assist with invoice and service charge administration.
  • Maintain accurate property, resident, contractor and compliance records.
  • Assist with resident and contractor meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Support Health & Safety and statutory compliance administration.
  • Assist with complaints and ensure actions are progressed within agreed timescales.
  • Provide general administrative and property management support.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in administration, property management, housing, facilities management or customer service is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks remotely.
  • Confident dealing with residents and contractors.
  • A proactive approach to following up outstanding actions.
  • Knowledge of residential property management and service charges would be advantageous, although training can be provided.
