Recruitment Consultants – Perms

Abbatt is a specialist property recruitment business, and we’re growing as the residential property sector continues to grow. We have a large number of existing clients and more live roles than our current team can cover, so we’re looking to bring in recruitment consultants at a range of levels to join our perms team.

Roles range from concierge and security through to office-based positions, property managers and estate managers. You’ll be account managing existing clients and sourcing candidates for their roles, so there’s no need to build a desk from scratch. There’s plenty of work to get into from your first day.

We’re ideally looking for people with at least a couple of years’ experience in a busy perms team, although we’re open on level. Whether you’re earlier in your career or an experienced consultant, we’d like to hear from you, and the salary will reflect your experience.

What you’ll be doing

• Account managing existing clients, understanding their needs and keeping on top of their live roles
• Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, and matching them to the right roles
• Managing the full recruitment process, from taking the brief through to offer, negotiation and start date
• Building strong relationships with candidates and clients
• Growing your accounts over time, with the opportunity to take on more clients as you progress

What we’re looking for

• Recruitment experience, ideally a couple of years or more in a busy perms team
• Experience using Linkedin Recruiter, Broadbean, Job Adder or similar job boards and ATS
• Property sector experience is useful but not essential
• Good organisation and the ability to manage a number of live roles at once
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A target-focused approach and motivation to earn
